九洲池這個項目在我們看來其實是有得有失有展望的項目。我們為其搭建了山水格局，但如何讓它成為一個理想中的園子、成為大家都歡喜的園子則是需要交給社會的。我們做的不是仿古，而是守舊如新的創新式的復原，試圖還原一種極古典的氣韻和精神，這其實也是在回答當代城市化進程的一個命題。
洛陽作為中國城市化進程中一個已經自我覺醒的城市，我們希望其文化景觀的基因能夠得到更好的展示和挖掘，也希望這個古典園林能夠成為展示洛陽文化的窗口。

In our opinion, the project of Jiuzhou Pool Park has advantages, disadvantages as well as the prospects. We had created a landscape pattern for it. But how to make it an ideal garden loved by everyone? Such question needs to be handed over to the society for judgement. What we did was not just mechanically copying the ancient, but to renovate it in an innovative and protective way, trying to preserve its distinct classical charm and spirit. Actually, it's also an answer to the proposition of contemporary urbanization process.
As a self-awakened city in the process of urbanization in China, we hope that Luoyang's cultural landscape gene can be better displayed and explored in this classical park.
